Tips For Sizing Your Player For Uniforms & Protective GearUpdated 11 hours ago
Here is some helpful information regarding sizing, to assist you in choosing the correct size for your player. We hope the tips below help guide you in the right direction for any sizing question you may have.
Where to Find Sizing Charts:
- All items in your team store include sizing charts in the product image gallery—usually the second image.
- For more detailed sizing information, please visit the following resources:
- Apparel Sizing Guide: Includes all brands we carry. Click on the appropriate brand to view their specific size charts.
- Protective Gear Sizing Guide: Includes sizing for gloves, helmets, and shoes. Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate between categories.
Additional Sizing Tips:
- If you’re unsure of the correct size, try measuring a similar garment your player already owns that fits well. Lay it flat on a table and measure from one armpit to the other (chest width). This measurement, can help determine whether to size up or down.
- All Zima sizing charts reflect measurements taken with the garment lying flat. For example, a size chart showing a 14" width represents a 28" waist circumference.
- Consider when the item will be worn. If you’re ordering in the fall for use into summer—or expect your player to grow—it may be a good idea to size up for longer usability.
